“Circle in the Moon” by Huggabroomstik Spotify Apple Amazon In the lead-up to Weemayk Music’s re-release of 5 Huggabroomstik albums, here’s “Circle in the Moon,” a downtempo jam from the band’s 2002 self-titled debut.

Those Christmas songs are gone from the chart, but the Fungus has remained. Huggabroomstik’s “The Day That the Fungus Caught Up With My Foot” holds the top spot on the chart for the second month straight, garnering more than twice as many streams on Spotify as its nearest competitor on the chart. (Wow!) Besides Huggabroomstik, the biggest winner in this month’s chart is Joe Crow Ryan, who has got the most chart gains and the most charting songs (5), including his newly debuting whistle tune “Three Themes That Remind Me of Elizabeth Reed” (#14). For the first time in the history of this chart, Huggabroomstik has seized the top spot, with “The Day the Fungus Caught Up With My Foot,” from their self-titled first album. No real clue as to why the song has taken off a decade and a half after its initial release (maybe folks looking for Ski Mask the Slump God’s “Foot Fungus” song??), but we’re pretty pleased it happened. Thomas Patrick Maguire once again has the most entries in this month’s chart, thanks to the popularity of I Already See That It’s Begun. “Promise Me You’ll Be Alright” (#4) off the album makes its chart debut this month. This month’s other chart debuts are Elastic No-No Band’s Elvis Costello cover “Mystery Dance” (#11) and Joe Crow Ryan’s whimsical protest song “Goldman Sachs Is Just Plain Evil” (#17).
