i don’t remember my dreams very often, but I was just thinking earlier about this castle-like school building I’ve seen in a lot of my dreams. not a specific dream, but a lot of dreams take place there, usually in this one spot with an elevator that people will just ride for fun, or the library, which is huge but you have to take a secret passage to get to it

in midnight sun, edward revealed that he can only hear the emotions behind charlie's thoughts, which isn't enough to know what charlie was planning. in the books, edward Never says he can fully read charlie's mind, either; it's always bella who asks what he's thinking and edward joking or deflecting! so yeah charlie was 100% just pacing around practicing his speech

Huh. Interesting. It’s been a few years since I read Midnight Sun, and I guess I didn’t really pick up on how Edward deflected Bella’s questioning about Charlie.
