Wee little Sirius Black feeling so out of place amongst his family members. Wee little Sirius Black not understanding what was wrong with him when he didn’t turn out as cruel as his mother, or as eager to turn to darkness as his cousin. Wee little Sirius Black feeling alone at his home, and knowing what a dissapointment he was. Wee little Sirius Black laying in bed at night, wondering why he was so different and out of place in his family. Wee little Sirius Black, coming from a long line of Slytherins, being sorted into Gryffindor. Wee little Sirius Black meeting James, and finally feeling a connection with someone. Then finally, wee little Sirius Black going to James’s house, and meeting his parents, and for the first time feeling like he had a home, and that he belonged. Sirius Black being so comfortable and at home, that he roamed through whatever rooms he pleased, except for the one next to James’s bedroom, for that door was always locked. Sirius Black and every single time he blushed as Mrs. Potter introduced him as “my second son.” Sirius Black finally doing what was best for him, for once, and making the decision to leave the Blacks. Sirius Black and the nervous jolt he felt that night as Mr. Potter opened the door to find Sirius and his trunk on his doorstep. Sirius Black suddenly thinking how stupid he was, to think they would want to take in a burden like himself. Sirius Black and the giddy happiness he felt as Mr. Potter winked and said, “It’s about time.” Sirius Black and the tears he fought back as they unlocked that mysterious door, and he found behind it a bedroom that had been prepared for him eons ago, just waiting for him. Sirius Black and the warmth that spread through him, as Mrs. Potter kissed his forehead and told him how pleased she was that he had come home at last.
