Just two weeks ago, almost everyone Elina had met looked at her with curiosity and disgust, as if she’d done something to deserve her lack of wings—never mind the fact that she was born without them. There had been exceptions, mostly since meeting Azura, but Nori was not one of them. Somehow, she could tell that Elina was lacking, even with her beautiful new wings.
