On the roof outside of their bedroom window. 👀👀
Send me a Hangout Spot from THIS post and I'll asign a glee friendship/ship to it and write a cute little thing for it, probably
The Hudmel House 🥰 (hudmelvans? Samfurt? friendship obviously)
obviously during S3 when they live together. Sam is living in Burt's old office/the guest room and he can easily get onto the back porch roof from his window (sidenote now I wanna build the Hudmel house in the sims... again) and sometimes he just needs to get away from the four walls and be out in nature so he sits on the roof at night and looks at the stars or watches the sunset. (i mean, he's just left all of his family in Kentucky this boy is homesick, and also is probably somewhat traumatised from working at a strip club at 16) Kurt spotted him, once, climbing out of his window and scolded him a bit until Sam explained that there was this perfectly safe little area you can sit on and forced Kurt to see. * Finn joined one night because Kurt had gone to talk to Sam on the roof and completely forgotten to have a 'lady chat and hot milk' with Finn. so now they all sit on the roof and look at the stars/sunset together talking about their days. When Kurt leaves it's just Sam and Finn and it's a little awkward at first, but then Sam helps Finn with all of his lesson ideas for the New Directions up there. and when Finn's gone... Well... Sam's sentimental, and Rachel had told them all about the Star he'd named after himself for her for christmas, so Now he's up there alone, but he knows Finn is shining down on him too. He picks a star and pretends that one is Finn's. Sometimes he talks to it, prays to it. He definately does it the night before they head to LA, and again when he comes back to Lima and is a bit lost. It's how he decides to go to McKinley to see if there might be a place for him there, like there was for Finn. Obviously Sam visits Carole and Burt often now that he's living in Lima full time. like he's there for friday night dinner every night. Sometimes he stays over if it's getting late. it's not like he had work in the morning anyway. And Burt and Carole have always told him that his room is his just like Kurt's will always be Kurt's and Finn's will always be Finn's. So he, in his fits of sentimentalness, will often sit on that roof on Friday nights watching the sunset or looking up at the twinkling stars and remembering, recounting his week to Finn. He hopes he's proud of what he's doing with the New Directions, sometimes it feels like he's stepping into Finn's shoes, like he's living Finn's destiny. The one sided talks help him to stop feeling that. Like Finn is telling him it's okay and he's doing a good job. Kurt joins him when he's in town, but somehow Blaine knows to stay out of their space, knowing that this is just for his best friend and husband to do in peace and rememberance. this became sadder than I expected omg 😭 * (also hevans of couse, just ignore the klaine stuff at the end and like... add a kiss in right around here or something lol🥰)
