Spring Break !!!!!!
Greetings my fellow seniors of 2011. Guess what time it is? That's right, spring break. You know what that means. It's almost college time. I know some of us haven't heard from the colleges that we desire to go to, but don't be discourage, look at the schools you did get into and start saving and financing, because deposit deadlines are pretty close too.
I know this spring break a lot of you guys plan on going to the common commercialized areas such as Florida, Cancun, Vegas, or places along those lines. But instead of having too much fun and risking trouble, maybe we should go visit the areas where we are planning on living four years as adults. Yes, go visit the state of you college that you are planning on going too. Even if its a place such as Iowa, it was your plan to go there so maybe you should test the waters before getting yourself into something you were not prepared for. You may think that your college is your dream place, but it's not only about on campus activities its also about what lies beyond the college. It's not like high school where if you don't like your schools area you can go back home, no this is a whole new ball game. We have to be mature and take responsibilities in our choice. Although that doesn't mean we can't take action now, go check out that area. Who knows it could probably be better than that trip to the Carribbeans you were planning.
Have fun this coming April and try not to get into too much trouble. Some of us have finally reached the legal age and cannot afford a record before a high school diploma.
