Hi! My name is Kurtwin B. Tolentino and I’d like to share with you guys my most memorable moments during my high school days.
Honestly speaking, Grade 10 is one of my favorite high school year. It was even more special to me because I felt like, we were complete. Then prom night happened. The moment when they called us one by one and performed our dance. I felt something. I just can’t explain what it is. We just released all out energy on the dance floor as if we got nothing to lose. Just literally dance the night away. That feeling of that freedom just felt magical. This was something I hope I won’t forget when I grow old.
This was the night we gave out best performance and it was SMPCS Night. We practiced so hard around 2-3 weeks and when we performed, all that hard work in our practice felt so worth it. Even the people cheered on us and it felt like good pride. I believe this event especially the dancing really made us stronger together and I felt like the friendship grew wildly.
On my 12th grade, we had a retreat at Baguio City. We stayed at this sacred retreat house. We did lots of on hand activities which includes about some self-realizations of being a good person and it made me realize that I was not being the man I’m supposed to be so I reflected during my stay there. The advices from their speeches really put a mark in my heart and inspired me to be better. We attended masses and I ask God for forgiveness for my sins and thanked him for everything single thing. I felt like God was just standing near me just patting my back saying “its alright son”. Before the retreat ended, we went to the park of Baguio and just chill and bonded. I ate some taho with strawberry and it was soooo good. Then had a long ride back home.
Ow this is a bit different I have experience throughout my high school days. We’re in a pandemic because of a virus called Covid-19 which originated from China that spread all over the world. Which means we were quarantine and was not allowed to go out of our homes. So this school year was kind of home-schooled. We meet our teachers and classmates virtually using Google Class and for more communication we use Facebook Messenger. It’s kinda sad because it wasn’t an eventful year and there was not face-to-face interaction but I did learn a lot more on technology which I believe will pay off in the future.
So that’s it. I hope you enjoyed my little share about my most memorable moments during high school.
