Selena had originally planned on buying a house when moving to the city, but with that plan there was a potential roommate and lesser bills with the maximum amount of space. Unfortunately, that plan fell through relatively quickly when her friend had decided to sign for another five years with the company, immediately ridding her the need to buy a permanent place. And maybe that was for the best. Selena didn’t know how long she’d be here for and it was easier to leave an apartment then it was to sell a house.

The last of the boxes were moved in to her new place and as quickly as they were moved, the dancer began to count them off to make sure everything made its way here. She was getting to the last of the boxes and everything seemed to make it... Everything except for one box. 

Are you kidding me?

There was no hesitation when she flung her door open. Her frustration was evident, she wasn’t even trying to hide it, and when she looked down the open-air hallway her heated temper was only made worse.

“Are you kidding me?!”

“Wait! B-but I need--”

Before she could finish the sentence, the deliveryman had already packed his truck and left. It was incredibly rude. To leave her with a stack of boxes that towered above her, boxes that contained precious gems and breakable items inside. There was no way she’d be able to move them without potentially breaking an item or two inside. If the boxes were to be placed in a line and not stacked, then maybe she could, but no, the boxes were stacked.

Dorothy always thought anything that towered her was scary. Trees in the dark? Scary. Skyscrapers when she looks up? Scary. She and Reina’s very needlessly tall fridge at home? Scary.

Her perception on it was near to thinking they can just carry her like she was nothing, being her small frame that she was. Looking to the side as she sat in the Jade Restaurant. This is her usual last resort to get fish,specially since Reina doesn’t really favor it, and the Sushi Samurai was full. The place was filled with people taller than her, save for a few children.

Feeling smaller than she already is, she was glad that her server was a petite woman. After ordering she patiently waits now, as she swings her feet. Thinking about it, people probably think she’s a lost kid of sorts? She hopes not.

And lo and behold at that thought someone comes by standing beside her seat. 

Everyone has their own routine, whether it was at home or outside. With others or on their own. It was something that one gets accustomed to on their own. Toy wasn’t an exception. His routines never lack the jogging, and reading his Ex’s love letter at the end of the day. He would call it his meditation sometimes. 

It’s a cold morning as Toy jogs through the park. There aren’t many people in the park yet, save for a few joggers such as himself and a couple with their child for a morning stroll. Everyone going at their own rhythm as he was. The cold morning air biting at his exposed skin, but he stays unfazed. He was used to it after all.He lightly pants as he continues on to his jog, only stopping when he was by the fountain. He sits on the side of it as he wipes some of his sweat. 

Looking around he notices a lone person on the bench in front of him. He didn’t realize he was staring until he and that person met eye to eye, to which he gives a small wave and smile to. 

Caught in the rain. What a day. Allen stood on the first floor the Baycourt Building, his lunch hour just starting and the rain coming down in sheets. As loath as he was to leave the building for food, he also didn’t want to eat at MinuteMart. He had seen their selection. Greasy foods, saturated fats, and not a single fresh meal in sight. He felt his skin aging just looking at it. Going out in the rain meant wet clothes and hair but it was a small price to pay in comparison. 

Her gaze firmly fixed up at the afternoon sky, as she sat on a bench at the park. She had just finished reading a book her father sent to her, and the story of the book just sucked her in deep that she was in one of her thoughtful states again. 

The story was a very generic cliche romantic one, and yet the writing was so well done it left a great impression on her. “Curse you talented author...!” she mutters under her breath as she leans back on the bench and closes her eyes.

Frey was a book based romantic, she enjoys the stories of romance in words and fiction. Her real life views on it though are quite moot. She never really thinks someone will like or love her like that. Even with that mindset she always loved day dreaming about it, having someone she loves by her side who loves her back. 

“Maybe when pigs fly~” She lightly giggles as she sits up straight again just to find someone staring at her.

The last thing that Elliott expected when he was taking the elevator to the lobby for a late lunch was for it to suddenly shut down. The elevator lurched around him, and Elliott grabbed hold of the support on the wall, staring up in surprise as the lights flickered just before the emergency power switched on.

Silence. He reached through the low lighting to press the lobby button. Nothing. Pressed the door open button. Nothing.

Well then.

Lily always had an aura of elegance and sophistication on her wherever she goes. From the way she dresses, the way she moves and even the way she talks. So having such a reputation has led people to believe Lily doesn’t know how to relax the way they know how to. Well... Not really.  

She looks around cautiously, wondering if someone she knows is in the vicinity. This part had always been hard; reaching her supposed destination. Even though it was in her sights, she needed to be careful to not be seen by anyone she knows at all cost. As soon as she believes the coast is clear she rushes into the store. 

As she entered there lightly panting the patrons of the store stared. Ah...This was normal. She did enter a video game store all dressed up with her usual qipao and her hair done, this makes her stick out like a sore thumb in all ways. She shook her head and ignored the whispers and curious gazes at her as she walks to a shelf to check if whatever she’s looking for had arrived already.Lo and behold there it was. “Ah..!” as she began to reach out for it, a hand overlaps hers.
