Half-Empty (Closed)
Life goes on.
Life has better things in store.
Love will find you again.
Youâre priceless.
These were the words that his Ex lover always told him. Words that he kept close to his heart. He reminds himself of this, for every second of every minute, of every hour of everyday. Moments passing, and seasons changing.Â
So then why does he feel so empty?
The morning greets him for another new day. It was something he told him to appreciate, because everyday they spent together was priceless. His self-worth returned...Well some of it. Enough for him to keep moving forward.Â
Determination and will to live. He had him to thank for that again. It was him that made him go on, and even though they both broke up on a good note. Why did he feel so empty?
Toy gently pets his husky while he wallows in this thoughts. Claus who had been with him for a while always made him feel happy at least, but thereâs no denying the sadness in him forming day by day after he left.Â
He felt helpless. He was suffocating. He was slowly dying inside.
And yet, he tries his best. He didnât want to disappoint his past lover... And he didnât want Claus to worry... His lovable friend cuddles him as if to try to comfort him. It was always a wonder how dogs can sense these feelings.
âClaus...Iâm... Iâm alright buddy, donât worry.â He gives him a hug, taking a deep breath in.
He felt empty, but Claus always made sure to fill some of the void in his life. The letter that his ex lover left him, would also play a part in his happiness.Â
Half-Empty, was what he was...But can there really be a half to the infinite void swallowing him...
No matter. His smile can always hide whatever pain he feels.
Heâll manage.
Heâll survive.
Even as he feels so goddamn empty inside.Â
