Hoy Como Ayer - Lisett + Juan

August 12th, 2016 - Sunshine State. Its hot! Not like beach hot, but humid hot, what a Floridian would describe as that humid cluster that forms right before it rains. Key Biscayne has a fresh couple of clouds slowly making their rounds to release their short and salty showers; as a way of polishing the little island for us before we shoot. An hour later, it is gorgeous! The Sun has shone through all the clouds and our couple is just a few hours away from saying I do.

Our bride Lisett is getting ready alongside her handsome son Joey and her Maid of Honor Jackie. She is calm and composed, the definition of elegance and grace. Her son Joey finishes his grilled cheese and says “Mom, you look beautiful”, followed by “how much longer before the ceremony?” Alex and I can’t help but giggle, it is very clear that Lisett’s son is very much looking forward to seeing his Mother wed Juan, and also to show off his amazing dance moves. She is breathtaking in her wedding dress, we cannot wait to capture Juan’s expression when he sees her.

Juan is one of my husbands best friends. He has been a brother to him since Elementary school and is like one for me as well. His best man, Richard sits next to him, sharing a brotherly moment, as he writes his vows. Juan is handsome, funny, and incredibly smart, but most importantly he’s an old soul. By definition an Old Soul is ‘a person whom is wise beyond their years; people of strong emotional stability. Basically, someone whom has more understanding of the world around them.” When he met Lisett, he just knew she was worth the investment. Lisett matches his humor, his passion and together they balance one another wonderfully. 

Throughout the ceremony everyone cried, smiled and laughed in elation as they exchanged their vows. On occasion, Alex and I wiped our tears continuously as their words to one another were honest and so very heartfelt. Their first dance was the salsa song “Flor Palida” by Marc Anthony, where they not only showcased their talent and smiles but embodied the days of “Bailes Cubanos” that our families treasure as the happiest form of celebration.

Este doble lanzamiento con una edición de lujo, incluye:

• El primer DVD Documental: Todo comienza con el registro de su 2da llegada al estadio Luna Park (14/06/14). Empieza la tarea meses previos al show con imágenes y audio del armado, los ensayos y la pre-producción del mismo. En el medio del proceso, mientras todo se iba desarrollando, la idea fue creciendo. Los encargados de dirección y edición del mismo _(Sebastian López y Sabrina Mottino)_ durante estos dos años que pasaron desde el show, fueron buscando todo registro del pasado para plasmar en este trabajo la mayor cantidad de momentos memorables.

Paralelamente se tomaron testimonios de las esposas, padres, madres, hijos, amigos personales, periodistas, fans y músicos allegados con quienes CARAJO compartió su historia y escenarios. Gracias a toda esta dedicación, los músicos pudieron recordar y revivir momentos importantísimos e inolvidables de su vertiginosa carrera, coronando así el festejo de los 15 años de vida donde por primera vez se muestran “desde adentro“.

Redoblando la apuesta “HOY COMO AYER” contiene un CD con 12 de sus más conocidas canciones, registradas en vivo en el LUNA PARK. Con un contundente BONUSTRACK DE 4 NUEVOS TEMAS compuestos para la ocasión junto a algunos de los músicos más emblemáticos de la escena musical argentina: Walas (Massacre), Fernando Ruiz Díaz (Catupecu Machu), Ciro Pertusi (Jauría) yKnario Compiano (Plan 4).
