#book 2 in the #23booksin2023 challenge #howtostanduptoadictator by winner of the #NobelPeacePrize & #Rappler founder @maria_ressa It was very informative but oftentimes frustrating because I can't believe all the crap she's had to endure in the #Philippines because of corruption, weaponizing #socialmedia & cultural beliefs that have hindered progress. The part about her BFF losing her battle to cancer had me in tears.
