And truly? It’s not even shocking anymore. That’s how men are—conditioned by a culture that has coddled them, excused them, and taught them that power is their birthright. Misogyny isn’t just something they practice—it’s something they live in. It’s in how they talk about women. How they ignore women. How they mock the very idea of consent and boundaries.

It’s 2025, and still, men treat the concept of “no” as negotiable. They reduce our safety, our voice, our autonomy to jokes, memes, and pickup lines. And when we call it out? Suddenly we’re “man-haters.” As if hating misogyny is the same as hating men—when really, if men weren’t so committed to being the problem, we wouldn’t have to protect ourselves from them.

This is why I don’t want a man. I don’t want a boyfriend. I don’t want to spend my life constantly bracing for disrespect disguised as love. I don’t want to teach a grown man how to be a decent human being. I’m tired. We’re all tired. Because this is not about one or two “bad guys.” This is about a system built by men, for men, where misogyny thrives and consent dies in silence.

Men disgust me. Not just for what they do, but for how little they care about the damage they leave behind. For how often they stay silent while their friends say the most vile things. For how quick they are to defend each other instead of standing up for what's right.

At this point, avoiding men is not about being bitter—it’s about survival.

Because when you're a woman, “everything is political” — your body, your voice, your choices, your silence. Even the decision to live without a man is treated as rebellion. So no, I’m not here to make men comfortable. I’m here to exist fully, loudly, and safely—on my own terms. And that, in itself, is resistance.
