if b.eckendorf is not in a relationship with you, he will not flirt with you. he can be an incredibly awkward dude, and yeah, he might make the comment of, oh, “you’re pretty / handsome” or something along those lines, but he doesn’t actively flirt with people? it’s just not his…thing, or strong suit. and like. he compliments people a lot, regardless of whether or not he’s attracted to them, so that can’t really be constituted as “flirting”, bc…he rarely, if ever, means it to be, or speaks in that fashion with folks. he doesn’t even understand what flirting is, honestly ???????????? like ????????????????¿¿¿ dude if a friend tries to kill u, he thinks that means that they like u. so. like. yeah. Uuuuuum, the use of unnecessary descriptors in place of your standard words. Like...you don’t need 20 billion different things to use instead of ‘said’. Those should be used in specific circumstances and idk where this fear of ‘said’ came from because it’s one of those words that reader’s mind just kind of rolls over and other words are very jarring to the reader. (Also ‘orbs’ instead of eyes. Good lord that phrase makes me twitch like nothing else.)

lol, oh yeah. I’ve been in this hellscape of an RPC for like 8 years, it was bound to happen at some point.

🙈what’s my muse’s biggest blind spot?
Pre-TOA, it wasnt really a blindspot, but it was willful ignorance of how he was perceived and what people’s reactions to him was. The biggest irony is that he acted like everyone thought he was hot shit and played up his insufferable qualities in order to preemptively defend against the hurt of others genuinely not liking him. Its kind of a clusterfuck and has led to Apollo’s distinct lack of self worth when in the form of Lester Papadapolous.
🙉what are two things that make my muse uncomfortable in conversation
Talk of his past tragic loves with anyone other than Artemis or his children, which honestly is just talk about his mistakes in general. He’s aware he fucked up, thanks, and nothing anyone can say is going to be as rough as what he’s told himself.
Also snakes. He gets goosebumps about them and is not happy.
