The Marauders Map
I was just thinking, when Snape tries to read the map and it says: âmr moony presents his compliments to professor snape, and begs him to keep his abnormally large nose out of other peopleâs businessâ was that ...
something lupin put in it when he was at school to say to Snape if HE IN PARTICULAR ever tried to read it
OR
do you think Lupin still had power over it and was commanding it to say exactly that AT THAT MOMENT while stood in front of him
either way I love it!!!
Tweed and cords, browns and greens. Seasonal practicality and warmth.
Pocket square by Howardâs, made-to-order tie by Drakeâs, Lubiam jacket found at Vestiaire du Renard, patina on Paraboot double monks by @quenteu

Howardâs in Paris
Howardâs is a tiny shop in Paris that specialises in ties and shirts. Their bold philosophy is exemplified by the relentlessly creative FrĂŠdĂŠric Costa who constantly renews his tie collections.Â
The grenadines have ever fascinating new patterns, the wool ties play with 1950sâ designs, the superb Vitale Barberis Canonico collection present splendid flannels, the ancient madders models show a beautiful hand.Â
The variety of textures on display is matched by stylistic sure footedness and quality finishing (perfect travetto stitching, Thomas Mason exclusive cottons for tipping, etc.). The pocket squares are equally wonderful with their double-face fabrics and muted colours.
As for the shirts, we should soon talk about them at more length after weâve tried his made to measure offer. Suffice it to say for the moment that the range of collar constructions, hand-finishing and fabrics is a pure joy.
In winter time, there is also a line of scarves using Vitale Barberis Canonico flannels with contrasted stitching and decorations of the utmost taste.
