Yet another deplorable example of staff unable to wear the propre outfit for the occasion: as everyone knows, veal carving and St Estèphe require blacktie and certainly not a green flannel suit with vintage paisley tie. What a shame. @quenteu @aubercy
Trying some wonderful vintage stuff at Chez Ammar (65 rue Nollet 75017 Paris), a haven for connoisseurs who can luck out on bespoke pieces (here Feruch, and Smalto). Nice sartorial encounter with Arda75 trying on similar items—no one was hurt in the ensuing fights.
Vintage Mossant felt hat. The firm opened in 1833 and was based in Bourg de Péage near Lyon in France. It closed in 1985. It boasted up to 1200 workers, turning out 2000 hats per day and importing half of them to the US. Remember not so long ago, no one would dare go out without a hat… This one is a family heirloom and still is in pristine condition.
The wonderful blue kid-gloves from @atelierparticulier are alpaca-lined and made in St Junien, near Limoges.
