I kind of wish that instead of doing full revisits of past Magic worlds, we were doing Core sets with a sample platter of past settings instead. Like, by the time Crimson Vow came out I was pretty tired of Innistrad, and Zendikar Rising was neat but it was also... forgettable? But if we'd gotten one Core set instead, with some Zendikar and some Innistrad sprinkled in, I think I'd have a lot more favorable views of the planes overall. Admittedly it would be harder to explore interesting Limited mechanics, like Party or Decay, but I still think it's worth the tradeoff. It's also a cool way to tease future worlds, like Origins did with Kaladesh. Heck, I'm still excited to see Vryn someday.
