I still think that train scene from the Clone Wars ep (destroy malevolence) was a reference to the scene in AOTC where C3PO falls on the SRT Droid but I could be wrong

The Aérotrain | 1965-1977
The Aérotrain was a Hovertrain developed in France from 1965 to 1977. The project was abandoned in 1977 due to lack of funding, the death of lead engineer Jean Bertin, and the adoption of TGV (Train à Grande Vitesse = High Speed Train) by the French government.
