Big changes are being planned at Dogsthorpe School.

Dogsthorpe Infant School teachers are submitting to the headteacher an end of year report on the learning progress of every child in their class. The child’s finalised report will also include their attendance record and a personal, written message to that child from Mrs Waters.

The Dogsthorpe Infant School podcast (Eddie’s Launchpads) has enjoyed many children authors on the show over the past few years. One of our most popular and local children’s authors to guest star on our show is Ellie Sandall.
Thanks to both her and the National Literacy Trust in Peterborough, there is a great event for very young children and their parents or carers at Serpentine Green Shopping Centre in Hampton coming soon.
Every journey has to start with the first step. When it comes to children’s literacy these first steps are the most important they will take in their education. So, join Ellie and the National Literacy team at this event and begin your very young child’s learning journey.
Dogsthorpe Infant School is proud to be a part of the Hampton Academies Trust network of #peterborough schools.
It’s going to be a busy and very important week.
Here is Mrs Waters to share more!
Eddie is in the park to remind all Dogsthorpe children must be in school today.
