Hour of the Assassin by Matthew Quirk is a March #botm pick. This is my first book from Quirk. “Nate is a former Secret Service agent but now a security consultant. He is framed for the murder of a former CIA Director. He is on the run from powerful men willing to do anything to protect an old secret. But they don’t know what he’s willing to do...” Good story from Quirk. It’s a long used trope for political thrillers but Quirk adds a little flavor with Nick’s skill set. There are some abrupt transitions but overall the story moves okay.
