So I woke up at 6:26pm Tuesday night and hopped in the shower thinking it was 5:26pm and I had to be to work at 7pm. As soon as I realized my mistake I hopped outta the shower and hastily got ready for work. I didn't put any make up on and grabbed the clothes closest to me. I made it with little time to spare... My work has a strict no fault policy. If I'm late I lose my raises again. I wasn't willing for that to happen again. It was seriously amazing to me how many people commented on the way I looked. "You look tired." "Your eyes look so big." "You look awful!" "Are you not feeling well?" I don't cake on the layers whether I'm going to work or going out on the town. I wear some simple foundation, a little high lighter, and eye make up. I even had a coworker tell me, jokingly, not to let it happen again. I was talking with my friend about this and she told me it wasn't me, it was everyone else. She told me this happens to her often. Tonight she decided not to wear eye makeup and someone asked her if she was getting sick. It just blows my mind how much affect something so simple has.
