Still in charge: Ontario NDP Leader Horwath survives leadership vote

Ontario NDP Leader Andrea Horwath had her leadership questioned after the last provincial election, but when the time came to decide if they still wanted her in charge, her delegates responded with an overwhelmingly positive decision. Horwath will continue her role as Ontario NDP leader after surviving a mandatory leadership vote at a convention in Toronto, where she received 76.9 per cent support. Horwath's support has actually increased as she received 0.5 per cent more votes than she did two years ago. She said majority support would allow her to get to work on forming a government. The vote comes after NDP supporters say Horwath blew the provincial election by taking the party too far to the right.
