Just Another Mimic Monday
Kiln Mimic
Raised by a rural family with too much ambition, this mimic was first taught to demolish structures so it could in turn serve as a temporary unit while a replacement was made. However, it became apparent that it was too simple to make a complex building and then too hungry to trust with occupancy. The family struck upon the idea of making it a kiln after they realized it produced internal heat without the need for a fire. This new business angle worked for a bit as it cut down on production costs until the mimic learned how to dry out and harder organic matter with its warmth. It wasn't long before only statues of the family remained and only as a larder of sorts for whenever prey was scarce.
