So basically, general gist is that Derek is the Hero, Avery is the Princess, and then KiY is Shifty (idk who narrator is, but I'm going to assume also KiY. This'll make sense in a second).
KiY is trying to make Derek gather "pure" vessels/Averys so he can come to our world. I'd assume there's multiple endings where Derek chooses to comply (either bringing pure vessels or making himself a pure vessel) or chooses to rebel (either by bringing an unpure vessel, helping an Avery escape. or making himself the unpure vessel).
Maybe you'll see art about this who knows.
