Its thighs trembled. It had been left alone in the dark room for a time. This had allowed it to spiral down into a different headspace. It was no longer a person. It was just a toy. Which is exactly what the two men now standing in the room wanted.  It had a stupid smile on its face. Its hands were cuffed behind its back. The metal was cold, biting into its wrists. The shorter man grabbed its chin and made it look at him. Its eyes were glazed over, unfocused. When it met his gaze, it smirked. A bratty, bitchy little smirk that changed the entire course of the evening. He jerked its face so that the taller man could see the look on its face. 

“It hasn’t learned?” it jerked at the use of that pronoun. It had never told either of them the way it thought of itself, but he knew. 

“It hasn’t,” the other man fell easily into the game. 

“What shall we do with it?” 

“Get on the bed,” his voice was low, angry, determined. It watched as the taller of the two climbed onto the bed with it. Following instruction, he positioned himself so he was sitting upright against the headboard. It was near the foot of the bed. The other man, the instructor, now walked around and grabbed it. He lifted it and carried it around just to drop it in the other man’s lap. 

“The toy,” he stated, on dropping it. “The instrument,” he pointed at the man now holding the toy. He turned and grabbed the toy’s head again. It was resituating itself, and he stopped that. He held its gaze. “You are nothing but a toy, and you will behave as such,” it groaned then. It was loving this. 

“Can I play with the toy?” it watched both of them grin at one another. The man, the instructor, shook his head. The instrument leaned past the toy and kissed and licked into the man's mouth. It began to whine. 

“Stupid,” the instructor muttered. “You need so much attention?” He asked of the toy. “Fine then, you're the star now. Amuse me,” 

“B-but,” it broke, speaking. 

“Did either of us give you permission to speak?” it shifted back at the instrument's tone. The instrument shifted too, making it fall with legs spread on either side of his thighs. The instructor smiled then.
