Red Dwarf 30 Days Challenge - Day 3: Favourite alien/villain

no actual aliens in this fandom ;) but 2020 we all too aware of virusses being proper villains, so i pick the holovirus that infects Rimmer and makes him wear this lovely outfit and shoot laser beams from his eyes, accompanied of course by ♥ Mr Flibble ♥ (who you could see as a sort of personification of the virus ig)

i should probably have picked something/someone else and kept this for my fav s5 episode, bc aahhh it’s just brilliant :’)) Chris does an even more superb job than usual here. just radiates insanity and murder energy. all this caused by the virus of course, but i’m aware obviously of these elements always being present in Rimmer in some way. whenever he’s having A Bad Day let’s say. it’s interesting stuff /therapist voice (btw disclaimer: i’m in no way calling Rimmer a villain here, or ever!!! seen ppl do this on more than one occasion and that gets me in full-on protection mode, so no, won’t have any of that TOT)
