Just finished watching Sherlock, so spoilers for the last episode here

Ok.

So.

Sherlock forgot he had a sister. Sherlock forgot he had a best friend. Sherlock forgot his dad was allergic to dogs. Sherlock forgot he didn’t have a dog. 

He probably didn’t have his memory palace back when he was like, five years old, but still. Sherlock. Sherlock Holmes forgot that he had another sibling, that he had a friend. Sherlock forgot his sister burned down his childhood home. Sherlock forgot his sister frickin killed his best friend. 

How does one forget that? Maybe because Mycroft lied to him, never told him about it. (Also, chubby Mycroft as a child- amazing, immaculate.) But how do you forget the death of your best friend? How do you twist a human best friend into a dog? How do you forget that you had a whole other sibling, a sister?

AND HOW IN THE WORLD DID THE COMPLETELY NORMAL HOLMES’ PARENTS HAVE THREE PSYCHOTIC CHILDREN

Ok, but I love how, when Sherlock is literally holding Moriarty over a freaking ledge and could let him go any moment, killing him, and Moriarty still finds it in him to be sarcastic.

Sherlock: You’re insane.

Moriarty: Oh, you’re just finding that out now? 

So. 3 Sherlock posts in one day. What has my life come to. 

You know that meme, where Percy says that water is the solution to everything? I very much believe that Sherlock said it first.

Sherlock, randomly one day: Water is the solution to everything. 

John: How so?

Sherlock, casually slipping in the murders: Dehydrated? Water! Thinking of murder? Drown them in water! Want to get clean? Clean yourself with water! Thinking of murder again? Choke them with water! Want to put out a fire? Put water on it! Someone touched your violin? Clean the knife with water! Want to annoy your brother? Put water on his phone!

John:............

Sherlock: Am I wrong? I’m never wrong, of course I’m not wrong. 

Mycroft, bursting through the door: SHERLOCK HOLMES DID YOU RUIN MY NEW PHONE

*sighs* I am too addicted to this damed show. I don’t think there are any big spoilers in this post, but do not read if you haven’t watched season 3 if you’re too paranoid about spoilers. Idk what episode it is ehehhe I also have no idea why these Sherlock posts are so long. 

Anyway, you know how where they’re in the carrige thing, underground? Where all the bombs are, and Sherlock is “trying” to disable them, but he’s really just playing with John? John thinks they’re gonna die, and when Sherlock confessed a bunch of stuff, John said “I forgive you.” By then, the bomb should’ve gone off, which meant “I forgive you.” probably would’ve been his last words. Either that or “THINK SHERLOCK THINK, THERE HAS TO BE SOMETHING IN THAT MIND PALACE OF YOURS!” 

But let’s ignore that part. Say his last words are “I forgive you.”

In case you can’t tell, I’m ✨addicted✨ to Sherlock. 

So. 10, in 6 months, 11 years. THIS DAM SHOW IS NEARLY OLDER THAN I AM, HOLY FRICK. 

It’s been 3 years since season 4 came out, and here I am, hoping there’ll be a season 5. I am so hopeless. Anyway

I love how, in the first episode, Sherlock knows practically everything about the woman who died, yet when Lestrade asks him what he’s got he causally says, “Not much.” LIKE DUDE, WTF YOU ALREADY HAVE ALL THAT INFO
