These smoked pork ribs, coated in a tasty dry rub and a mouthwatering BBQ sauce, will make your holiday table look better.
Ingredients: 3 lbs pork ribs. 1 cup BBQ sauce. 1/4 cup brown sugar. 2 tbsp paprika. 1 tbsp garlic powder. 1 tbsp onion powder. 1 tsp cayenne pepper. Salt and pepper to taste. Wood chips for smoking.
Instructions: Preheat your smoker to 225F 107C with your choice of wood chips for flavor. Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs for better tenderness. In a bowl, mix brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper to create a dry rub. Rub the spice mixture generously over the ribs, covering all sides. Place the ribs on the preheated smoker and cook for 3 hours, maintaining a consistent temperature. After 3 hours, baste the ribs with BBQ sauce, ensuring an even coating. Continue smoking for an additional 1-2 hours or until the ribs are tender and have a beautiful crust. Remove the ribs from the smoker, let them rest for 10 minutes, and then slice between the bones. Serve hot, garnished with extra BBQ sauce on the side.
