Delicious and succulent spareribs marinated in a flavorful blend of hoisin, ginger, and other Asian-inspired ingredients, grilled to perfection for a mouthwatering barbecue experience.
Ingredients: 2 racks of pork spareribs. 1/2 cup hoisin sauce. 1/4 cup soy sauce. 3 tablespoons rice vinegar. 2 tablespoons honey. 1 tablespoon grated ginger. 2 cloves garlic, minced. 1 teaspoon Chinese five-spice powder. Salt and black pepper to taste. Sesame seeds and green onions for garnish.
Instructions: Preheat the barbecue or grill to medium-high heat. In a bowl, mix hoisin sauce, soy sauce, rice vinegar, honey, grated ginger, minced garlic, Chinese five-spice powder, salt, and black pepper to create the marinade. Cut the spareribs into individual ribs and place them in a large resealable plastic bag or shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the ribs, ensuring they are well-coated. Seal the bag or cover the dish, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight for best flavor. Remove the ribs from the marinade and let them come to room temperature while you preheat the barbecue. Grill the ribs for 20-30 minutes, turning occasionally and basting with the leftover marinade until the ribs are caramelized and cooked through. Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions before serving.
