"Muggle?" Logan Bryant asked in a somewhat inquisitive tone, but his words were a bit too slurred to know for sure if it was because he was genuinely curious or just shitfaced. "You fucking jackass, if that's some new English insult don't think I won't-"
Jaxxon made a face and pulled on his Dad's sleeve. "Dad, stop. Please."
"He's fucking trying to kidnap you, look at the mustache, Jay!"
Jaxxon looked at his Dad and then looked at the headmaster's face. He wanted to hide forever and never come out. "Dad, just listen to him."
Logan shoved his son behind his legs and eyed the man. He was wearing a fucking cloak for fuck's sake; who trusted men in cloaks? No one. You weren't fucking supposed to do that. And the mustache. Bloke was probably some sort of creepy child molester.
"Dad, he's making things float, he's not lying." Probably.
"I'm drunk. I'm seeing things."
Jaxxon stomped his foot. "Well, I'm not."
Logan pointed a finger at him and narrowed his eyes. "... You're drunk."
Jax furrowed his eyebrows and choked back the feeling that you got right before you were going to either sneeze or cry. He'd probably end up doing the latter. "I'm eleven! And It's my birthday, you promised that you wouldn't drink today."
The headmaster finally cut in, far too calm for what was going on. Maybe this happened a lot. "I can assure you that-"
Ladan pursed his lips and folded his hands in front of him. "There really isn't need for that that sort of language, sir. And This is hardly a house." he added, looking around the van.
"So, you try to take my kid and now you're insulting my home? Get out."
"Dad!" Jaxxon could feel tears running down his face and why did Dad always have to mess everything up all the time. "Please just listen please."
Logan considered it and pointed at his son. "Fine, Jason. But only because it's your fucking birthday."
