so the first time i watched the hp movies I was just excited to be watching them and I would notice that lines in the movies were direct quotes. and i would be like oh wow that thing hermione said or harry said was actually originally ron’s words. except that happened throughout the entire movie saga. why was ron’s entire character erased just to become the comedic relief?? it is disrespectful to the true character of ron weasley and I want some damn justice for it. he was so much more than just the sidekick to harry potter. he was harry’s ride or die. harry depended on ron and truly saw him as a great wizard and even better friend. ron weasley thought about the elves during the battle of hogwarts. ron weasley retrieved godric gryffindor’s sword from the lake. ron weasley saved his friend from being trapped in an abusive home all summer. put some respect on ron weasley’s name.
