Homecoming Week (October 9th)
Well, this week has been a BLAST! I have never enjoyed a pep assembly as much as I have this week! The first good part of this week, was of course, Class Color Day! It's where each grade wears their assigned color. Freshman wear yellow (Shudders), Sophamores wear Red, Juniors wear blue, and Seniors wear BLACK! I mean, I'm not goth, but that is all I wear these days. So I went to school in my daily attire, including leggings, black shirt, black boots, and of course black facepaint. It was so fun! The second best day was today, School Spirit Day. Not because I had to dress in all green and white because I didn't (I did at the parade though), but because seniors got to wear togas. I have been looking forward to today since freshman year, and it is finally my turn to wear a toga! I loved it. I got a green bedsheet and a rustic looking belt and made a toga. It was so cool to see everyone wearing togas instead of green and white. It felt so good to be a senior! Then after school today, there was the homecoming parade. I march in the parade for the equestrian team, and the whole team was there to walk. It was great! I had so much fun. Then the football game, which was so boring that I ended up leaving early. I have other reasons too, though they aren't meant for the internet's ears. Now, I am in bed waiting to fall asleep and am struggling to because I am so excited for tomorrow's dance! I can't wait for it!
