hogwarts legacy shiptember 2026
two weeks of pure shipping nonsense
---
howdy, friends! i'm so excited to reveal a project that has been in the works since march. i'd been floating the idea around to a few people, but the time has come for me to actually make it real. as most of you know, i love to play barbies with my ocs & their friends--there's nothing like realizing two characters are perfect, or toxic, for each other to really get the creative juices flowing. we have no shortage of oc ships, and i'm always excited to make more.
since i've been a part of this lovely fandom--for like, what, almost a year now?--i've gotten to befriend so many of you kind folks and get to know your ocs. so, it makes sense to take all of that love and shove it into a big event that celebrates the role shipping plays in our hogleg community. hence: shiptember. not the most original idea, i'm sure, but just a silly thing to bring everyone together.

guidelines
-ai content should not be used for the prompts in this event, and i can't/won't endorse anything that includes it. you're all such creative people, and i'm excited to see how you put your own personal spin on each day--without going to chatgpt.
-since shipping is a two-way street, please only include ships where you've gotten explicit permission from a creator to use their character(s). i've made forms you can fill out to offer your oc(s) to be used in ships, as there shouldn't be any pressure for someone to join in on the event. if someone hasn't filled out one of those forms, please reach out to them before using their character(s). if you'd like to offer your oc, but not create any content, that's fine! this is all about supporting community members.
-with both romantic and platonic shipping encouraged, this opens up the door for nsfw content (which is absolutely allowed/supported). i'm kindly asking those who create explicit work for this event to properly tag it as so, and for minors to refrain from interacting with and/or creating nsfw content themselves. please make sure you communicate with a creator before including their oc in explicit content, and only include adult characters in adult works. unless stated otherwise, i'll be assuming each oc/character is 18 or older for this event.

general info
-you doesn't have to be limited to oc x oc ships, or even pairings with only two characters. all sorts of relationships can be used for the prompts, whether it's crackships, polyships, or friendships. npcs can be included, but i mostly want to encourage interactions with different ocs.
-prompts are there to help, not dictate what you contribute. each day is themed with different tropes, but feel free to interpret them as you wish. each take on 'hurt/comfort' or 'meet cute' will be unique, especially depending on the ships used. you don't have to do something for each day, and it's absolutely okay to only contribute a few prompts or just reblog your friends' work.
-creativity is encouraged! screenshots, drawings, playlists, posters, drabbles... there's so much you can do with the themes. if you just want to answer the prompt questions in a text post, great! if you're inspired to make something, also great! this event is open to everyone, even if you don't think you're an artist or writer.
-i'm going to be reblogging pretty much everything i see onto my secondary blog (@aurorasasps) with the tag #hlshiptember26. please use this tag on your work (or reblogs) so that it can be seen and shared.
-any questions/comments/concerns/whatever can be sent to my ask box or dms, i'm happy to help out in any way i can. since i'm not dictating who is paired with who, i'm relying on y'all to be respectful when interacting with each other (and when using other ocs). this is such a welcoming community--shiptember is meant to connect us with each other and support the work that goes into creating characters (...and shoving them together into ships lol)

character inclusion forms
(highly recommended, but not necessary. room for a picture of your oc and some info)

shoutout to my friend @ravenothere for helping with the designs (and coming up w/ the idea of hogwarts house themed oc forms... genuis). your color expertise was genuinely needed & appreciated
also, shoutout to the wonderful @sage-pages for creating the valentines event back in february that inspired me to attempt my own sort of challenge. i absolutely devoured #hlspreadthelove, and it was a wonderful way to get to know other creators
