I’ve done it to myself, so this isn’t a complaint. It’s more of a whine because I need an extra 2-3 hrs a day, desperately! Between work and preparing for the CAPM exam, I have time to work on this blog, and not much else. Poetry happens because my writing time is a distant memory and there’s still the creative thing inside that needs an outlet. That, and poetry happens because it’s much easier…

I have openings for three alpha readers for the series I’m writing. You’re not required to stick around for the entire thing, but I’ve got 5 books planned for the main series, an intro novella, and a trilogy spin-off.

A brief sample... The opening paragraph:

     Had anyone paused to peer through the windows of Lauren Caldwell’s home, they would have quickly become bored and wandered away. The evening routines of an elderly woman who appeared to live alone were of no particular interest to the world around her. Even neighbors who waved to her when she was in her yard didn’t notice more than the fact that she existed. They might have become concerned if she weren’t seen for a few days, but lives of courteous disinterest were the norm in the crowded, suburban landscape. That she often sat on her patio, talking in gentle tones, was written off as old age by the few who noticed. They’d never have suspected she spoke with someone more invisible to the world than herself.
