When I bought my bong, I also bought a hitter from GRAV that they called a "taster." It's a larger diameter than most hitters I've had in the past, but it's got three discs in it with holes in them that create one large chamber, then two small ones, before a mid-size chamber to the mouth. It tapers down to an opening like you see on glass tips for joints. They said it's supposed to make the hit less harsh, which should allow you to get more of the taste of the weed.
I finally gave it a try tonight and the thing hits like a mack truck. It's so smooth and you really can get a good taste of the weed. Plus, the brass filter I put in it means I don't eat any bits like you usually do with hitters. Not bad for a $10 pipe and I like that it kinda looks like a piece of lab equipment. It doesn't hit nearly as hard as my dragon egg, but that thing is gnarly and in a class of its own.
