I also want to thank you for prompting people to tell you things that they are proud of about themselves. I have been on Tumblr since high school, and I have always felt saddened by the way things seem to center around everybody here being a shit human being. In the non-RP parts of Tumblr, people are always talking about how they are fat, ugly, lazy and stupid, and while much of it is self-deprecating humor, I still see precious little talk about peoples' good traits.

Moreover, I feel as though Tumblr is used primarily as a venting space for many people particularly marginalized people, and while our struggles deserve attention, our successes and happinesses as people deserve attention as well. So it really means a lot to me that someone is going out and actively encouraging people to be positive about themselves, since that is something I don't often see here. Much love!

Come tell Ditto what you are proud of about yourself !!

There is so much here that Ditto is happy to see you take pride in !!

Most importantly, Ditto is happy to see you taking time & pride in taking that time for yourself. The world can get so busy, we forget to do that sometimes. But !! It is very important.

Ditto was raised by a wonderful pair of ladies, that helped Ditto to see failures or hiccups not as bad things, but as stepping stones to get to the good things. You can’t obtain talent in anything without a few little mistakes, & while it’s important to make note of them, dwelling on them or gaslighting them does not help at all.

Encouragement & positive reinforcement goes farther than scolding or pointing out flaw excessively. 

Everyone deserves a little help, too. Cause sometimes we as humans get so wrapped up in taking care of others, & making ourselves available to others, that we forget how to do that for ourselves.

So !! Ditto is here. Ditto will remind people, & give them the mic, the spotlight on the dance floor. The boost up to the next tree branch !!

Hoenn Gym Leader, Wallace, intimidates Kalos Professor by buying all the groceries and T posing to assert dominance. 

This exciting scene took place in a grocery store in Unova selling primarily soup with a small selection of clothes. The Gym Leader of Sootopolis City entered the store shortly after the Kalosian professor consistently smiling and talking to Professor Sycamore. Sycamore appeared more interested in the soup and the manga section of the store. Somehow- Wallace ended up buying all the soup and blocking the manga and magazines. Why, Wallace, why?

Well, that’s the story for you. T posing asserts dominance.

From a game of ‘distract Wings’ from a few days ago oops

((I don’t want to speak a whole lot on Kalosian values, just because I know everyone has their own hcs about Ancient Kalos. But I can do some.

Being primarily mountainous, Vanitas was a bit of a harsh region, and its people rather hardy. Vanitian culture put a high emphasis on tenacity, work ethic, and candidness. This wasn’t always best for diplomatic issues, and many regions considered Vanitians to be very ‘rough around the edges’. It also meant there was little bartering with Vanitians which, when your economy relies heavily on the sale of rare gems and materials...wasn’t always the best. But you always knew if a Vanitian had your back.

It was a region that largely took care of its own, even if it didn’t always seem that way on the outside. Towns and villages were tight-knit and difficult to join or leave.

Were it to exist in the modern Pokémon world, some of these values would be relaxed somewhat, would have shifted to a constitutional monarchy, and the region as a whole would be heavily trade-oriented. Co-existing with Pokémon was and still would be a very significant day-to-day thing. 

However, there would probably not be a Pokémon League or a Gym Challenge; Vanitian youth intent on becoming Pokémon Masters would be encouraged to travel to Kalos or Galar for their journey. There would actually likely be an exchange program with the neighboring regions, with others coming to Vanitas in order to learn trades and skills that can’t be matched by modern technology (although it might be aided by it).

As for fakemon...The most significant would no doubt be Boariler, being so important that, though production of Boarlier came to a halt shortly after the war with Kalos, it remains the emblem of the region. It is depicted on the coats of arms of high-ranking nobility, most notably the royal family.

“ For the love of- ” Steven runs a hand through his hair. “ How many times do I have to tell you to take a break every once in awhile? ” 

Despite being a powerful trainer himself, he hadn’t dared to take challenge the title of Champion himself. He would leave the politics to Wallace. Besides- he wouldn’t dare challenge Wallace. Steven knew damn well he’s outmatched.
