It’s so sad that, after so much progress in life with affirmative action and other experiences of oppression - that some people can really only continue to go so far in life.Â
Even in the face of so much opportunity. They just can’t actually get the opportunity - and it is so infuriating. For people who continue to be treated unfairly, it’s so frustrating to realize that people are so easily held back and cut down - only for the posted reminder of MLK or Malcolm X in advertisements that will always be a maintained reality for so many people of color - that that is your history, and you will always face levels of oppression that are justified.
