for fuck’s SAKE i might not get the mdzs book in the end because mdrk doesn’t seem to be taking paypal (it wasn’t even available as a payment option) and they have issues with visa cards AGAIN. about which they only inform you on the after-payment screen and no earlier.

it’s actually so annoying when people are like “well mag was always formatted around the statements they had to keep doing them in season five” because in the first four seasons the statements served a purpose, they were building suspense for the mystery and dropping clues, and allowing you to piece together this world and the fears themselves. but once the mystery is revealed and the big question is answered they just keep doing statements which literally serve no purpose anymore. season five is practically the unconnected anthology tma was originally conceived of as when it should be the farthest you can get from that premise!! it should be active and looking forward because we’re in the literal fucking apocalypse and have a big bad and a goal beyond the puzzle but instead every episode is some random person’s personal horror story that we have no reason to be invested in which contributes nothing to the overall plot beyond some bland and incredibly obvious parallels
