Snowy Day (and Gays)
writing request by @anoisyphenomenon
It was a pretty snowy morning in the area where Finch lived. He woke up groggy, as Hacker insisted that they just had to get up early. Though, Finch wouldâve rather slept in on his holidays off, he was still happy to see Hacker excited. (Even if heâd never admit it.) They had the house to themselves, as his roommate was off visiting family. In the kitchen, they chatted about their plans. âSo, I have this day planned out nicely.â Hacker mentioned casually. âOh?â Finch inquired. âLike what?â Hacker turned around from the coffee machine with a mischievous smile. âItâs a surprise.â He walked over and planted a small kiss on the shorter manâs face. âThatâsâŚominous. Now Iâm worried.â Finch rolled his eyes, slightly playfully. âUgh, youâre so mean.â Hacker replied with a face of fake offense. The coffee pot beeped, and Hacker walked over to pour them both cups. âSo, do these activities include the outdoors?â Finch asked while taking a mug from Hacker and thanking him. âWell..yeah, but donât think Iâm giving any hints, alright?â Finch crossed his arms childishly and walked out of the kitchen. A âwhateverâ being mumbled as he left.Â
Later, Hacker told Finch to bundle up. He grabbed his boyfriendâs hand and guided him outside. âHacker, canât you just tell me already..?â He sounded annoyed with Hackerâs antics. âNo, now come on. It snowed pretty hard last night.â Hacker picked up a handful of snow and made into a ball. âCome on!! Letâs make a snowman.â The younger man motioned for Finch to come help. âFine.â Finch joined him. Once again, rolling his eyes playfully, a smile creeping on his face. âWatch out!â The warning came from nowhere as snow smashed into Hackerâs arm. He shivered as he looked over to his smirking boyfriend. Finch stifled a laugh, âI said watch out.â He shrugged. âOh, yeah? You really wanna play that game?â Hacker smiled mischievously as he gathered snow and threw it at Finch. Unfortunately for Hacker, he did not have the aim of a JD Captain. Finch watched the snowball fly over his head, finally letting out a laugh. âThat was just terrible.â He shook his head, before getting hit right in the face with a snowball. It was Hackerâs turn to laugh when he looked at the shorter manâs face, all snowy and shocked. Finch quickly reached down for more snow, as Hacker did the same.
âI definitely won our snowball fight.â Finch said as he pulled off his boots. âWhat!? I hit you right in the face, that should count for twice the points.â Hacker argued back. Rolling his eyes, Finch disagreed, âYou just got lucky. I mean, you could barely hit me, I landed way more shots than you.â Hacker smiled while taking off his winter jacket, âOkay fine. But I still have more things planned.â Finch looked down. âI donât know Hacker, Iâm pretty beat.â Hacker pulled Finch to the couch. Finch sighed. âI promise itâs not anything tiring, honey.â Hacker motioned Finch to sit. He did, waiting to see what his lover had planned. Hacker walked to the kitchen. âYou are such a princess.â Finch shot him a look. âHow many times do I have to tell you, donât call me that.â Finch turned around to hide his slight blush. He refused to ever admit, especially to Hacker, how loved he felt when he was called sweet nicknames. Hacker grabbed a board and put Finchâs favorite snacks and some of his too. âAlright, Iâm ready! Time for a movie night..â He walked to the coffee table and placed down the tray. âThis looks nice.â Finch gave a small smile. âSo, what movie are we watching?â The JD Captain asked. âHmm, a classic of my childhood. âMean Girlsââ Hacker smirked. âUh, alright. But it better not be one of your weird sci-fi movies.â Finch made a face of judgement. The taller one immediately defended himself. âHey, those movies are amazing!â He pulled Finch closer, to cuddle. âLetâs just watch the movie.â Finch snuggled up closer to his partner.Â
Finch rubbed his eyes. âThat was dramatic. Are teenagers these days really like that?!â Hacker smiled at his boyfriendâs question. âWell, yes and no. Iâd say theyâre notâŚget hit by a bus bad.â Finch huffed, wondering whatâd it be like if he was a high schooler in todayâs time. âAre you still too tired?â The blonde/brunette one asked. Finch looked down, âOnly a little bit. Is there more stuff planned? Itâs getting pretty late.â At this point, it was almost 9:30pm. Both had work tomorrow, and Finch was pretty big on getting a reasonable amount of sleep. âJust one more thing I promise. Can you put your jacket on?â Hacker made puppy eyes, and how could Finch say no to that?
âOk, just let me go get it.â He headed towards the front closet to retrieve his snow jacket. Hacker zoomed to the Kitchen again and got milk and hot chocolate packets. He quickly assembled the drink, right when Finch came back with his jacket and boots. He let out a small yawn, almost ready to hit the hay. âHere you go, whipped cream and sprinkles for me and a candy cane for you. Just how we like it.â He kissed his lover on the forehead and motioned for him to follow. âThank you. What are we doing again?â Finch inquired, only to be met with more ominous silence. They sat down on the swinging bench on Finchâs patio. Hacker laid his head on top on his beloved while taking a sip of his drink. âSo, this new year is gonna be great..â Hacker said out of the blue. Finch raised his eyebrows at the comment. âHow could you know..? I mean last year was..it was something.â Silence lingered between them. A lot had happened in the past year. Good things and bad things. It was hard, mentally and emotionally. âIâm just proud of us. We got through so much together.â The couple interlocked their free hands. âI can feel that itâll be a better year. For you and me.â He took a sip of his hot chocolate once again. âOh..â Finch looked down. âI hope so. That weâll be blessed and happy.â He fidgeted with the candy cane in the mug. The sounds of the night could be heard. Crickets, the slight wind, the occasional car driving by. Hacker smiled, âYeah...baby?â Finch looked up. âI love you so much..itâs almost unreal.â The shorter man couldnât help but smile at that.  âI love you too.â He said quietly. Finch wasnât good at affection, but he always tried his best. He turned to give his boyfriend a kiss. âThank you for an amazing day.â He truly enjoyed it. He felt appreciated in a way heâd never experienced before and Hacker always made it so easy for Finch to feel loved. âOf course sweetheart.â They stayed like that until they finished their drinks, then going back inside to get some much needed rest after an exhausting, but wonderful day. Hacker wanted Finch to take more days off of work, as he loved when they were able to have time together.Â

The End đ Happy Late Christmas and New Year. I tried to finish this earlier, but I got sick and then I just lost motivation. But I hope you enjoy <3

Happy Birthday, Mr Mayor. No one does it like you.
A week away
----
Long story short I got bored and decided Finch and Hacker decided more content, so this was born
Ooooof course this includes some headcanons @asukamood and I have, in our defense theres barely any canon content of either of them. Anyways, enjoy what you're getting into :D

Sypnosis:
âYou donât just- get to do that! You donât get to disappear for a week and not answer my questions when you come back Finch.â
The words hung heavy in the air, each sentence a weighted accusation that Finch felt like built up to a feeling of guilt that was growing with each second. He stood there, caught between the exhaustion and the emotional storm in Hackerâs eyes.

Warnings: Implied torture (Donât mess with Randyâs kids)
Synopsis: âAre âtheyâ in there?â The terrifying version of Randy asked, his voice a low growl that seemed to echo at the end of his words. Quite the nightmare fuel. Finch, however, did not let that get to him and nodded.
Before he could say anything else, Randy turned toward Bobby. âSon, donât give them a hard time.â His tone softened just ever so slightly, but that could just be Finchâs imagination. âYou go talk to Hacker first, Iâll join you two soon, okay?â
