Now would Olivier Armstrong think Astrid is good enough to be one of her soldiers? Well, Olivier would not automatically accept Astrid as “good enough.” She would be just as tough and harsh with Astrid as she would be with anyone; Astrid would have to prove herself, with no blows softened, before Armstrong would welcome her aboard. I think that Astrid and Olivier would butt heads, and that Astrid, upon seeing the challenge of getting Armstrong’s favor, would put her heart and soul into practicing her fighting abilities. Astrid would hone her skills as much as she could and go out of her way to prove to Armstrong she’s good enough. Astrid would be furious if she were told she was not good enough for Olivier Armstrong’s fighters! She’d keep on practicing until she got acknowledgement she was good (think of how Astrid fought in Dragon Training for acknowledgement). In the end, maybe Astrid could demonstrate enough skill that Armstrong would acknowledge it (even if she doesn’t accept Astrid as one of her fighters, there will be some acknowledgement somewhere of skill). Depending on how young Astrid is when this happens, it could take a little time. After all, Armstrong would really have some reservations about a teenager.

HOT. There’s always plenty to do here (regardless of season), but as far as weather goes October is probably the best time to visit. That way you aren’t sweating walking around Manhattan. Our weather during Spring and Fall is honestly gorgeous.I’m assuming you’d want to do typical tourist things like Statue of Liberty, Empire State Building, Rockefeller Center, Meatpacking District, High Line, Chelsea Market, World Trade Center/911 Memorial, Central Park, Bryant Park, China Town, Little Italy, Broadway, Times Square, a bunch of museums (MoMa, MET, History) etc. Of course since I am a New Yorker I know some gems as well. ;) Do you plan on visiting?PS - Famous food: Pizza, bagels, cheesecake, pastrami, 24 diners, Chinese food from Flushing

Viggo calling Hiccup a “man” is more interesting to me. Enemies are more likely to call someone derogatorily a “boy” to make them sound less threatening. Viggo has shown himself to be confident about his abilities compared to Hiccup. However, the more he interacts with Hiccup, the more he realizes Hiccup can be a threat. Viggo calling Hiccup a “man” in Buffalord Soldier demonstrates that Viggo is starting to see Hiccup as more than a boy - but an actual threat. A “boy” isn’t something he should concern himself over. A “man,” however, is something to take into consideration. This small choice of language shows how Viggo during season three begins to perceive Hiccup as a legitimate problem.

I actually have considered it. I could do something on it, but I’d have to do a little research into the sport. Although I do love the idea of a career ending injury. Would be an interesting thing to write about.

Oh umm...well I’ve never actually written about places I’ve never been to. Although in addition to research, I would recommend talking to people who have been there as well as people who’ve lived there.
