If you can't see without your glasses I'll guide you.
Whoosh!
The ball hit you right on the side of your head and down you went, ironically time seemed to slow down but your head still banged against the field and your glasses still fell away in pieces. Yells surrounded you immediately and although your vision had gone almost dark and blurry and you felt tears stream down your face at the throbbing pain in your head, you still felt strong arms lifting you off the prickly grass and then you were floating, looking up at the blue sky with the fluffiest clouds you'd seen in a long time.
"Keep your eyes open for me love, don't fall asleep." The deep voice mumbled to you calmly, although now that you think about it, it was a little panicky. And you knew why. If you fell unconscious, that would be bad since you had most probably gotten a minor concussion from both the ball hitting you and your head slamming against the field. And you obeyed, staring up at the blurry grey dull ceilings of your school hallways. They really needed a paint job.
The rest of the day was a huge big blank blob to you. You had been told you had failed to keep yourself awake after Seungcheol got you into the infirmary from where your parents were called and you were transferred to a hospital to make sure the concussions were not too serious. You didn't remember any of it, just waking up the next afternoon with a massive headache and the inability to move your head.
The next few weeks you were told not to stress yourself too much and try to refrain from any movements that would bring a jerk to your head. And that's when it started. Choi Seungcheol, captain of the football team followed you everywhere you went. He made it his mission to be your personal bodyguard after finding out what the doctor had advised you to do when he came to apologize to you at the hospital and instead ran into your sister who turned out to be his friend due to being on the cheer squad.
And since you only knew him as Choi Seungcheol the football Captain, you were surprised he was so sweet and caring, thinking it had only been that way since he was guilty for hurting you and also breaking your glasses.
On another day like the rest, he followed you everywhere, you grabbed a few heavy books from the shelves in the library, trying to reach a book higher and standing on the absolute tip of your toes but sighed in defeat when you couldn't reach it. In the middle of another try to arms caged you against the shelf as an arm reached up over your head to grab the book you so desperately wanted. You were frozen, you knew he it was, obviously since he followed you everywhere and was the only guy ever to talk to you besides your two brothers.
You thanked him, in a high pitched squeak that embarrassed you more and quickly grabbed the book from his arms, running away to your table and sitting down, opening a random page and hiding your face in it. Seungcheol leaned against the shelf as he smirked at you. He couldn't deny it anymore, your cute little nerdy personality had managed to warm his heart and win it as well.
So he kept following you, even after you were recovered and didn't need him anymore, even after you went from sophomore to Junior and he went from Junior to Senior, Seungcheol followed you around with an his large muscly arm on your shoulders and your cute small bag in his other hand. You didn't particularly mind it, you felt safe with him around now that your brothers had graduated along with your sister, and with his jock status in the school, nobody messed with him, or the tiny nerd that was you besides him.
And he followed you straight to your house one day, straight to your dinner table and straight into your parents heart as they fawned over him. Then he kissed you at your doorstep, your first kiss, he said with a soft smile and left you with a million butterflies that returned everytime he smiled at you.
