Guess who it is~

Seokmin loved surprsing you, whether it was showing up at your doorstep on Sunday mornings for breakfast, or showing up late at night with snacks while you studied, he always took pride in the adorable grins you gave him. He wouldn't tell you but it always made his heart flutter when you smiled.

And today after such a tiring day where he'd gotten scolded multiple times by teachers and even by his own soccer teammates, he needed his energy drink, he needed to see your smile. So he made up his mind and ran across the school towards the library, your safe haven.

You didn't necessarily always study there, more like catch up on sleep in a dark corner somewhere, but you did tell Seokmin that you'd be in the mythology section today to read this new book on Chinese mythological creatures.

Seokmin found you hiding behind a shelf, sitting on the floor with your face completely hidden by the large and thick book in your lap, he smiled slightly and he quietly sat in front of you, waiting for you to realize a person was in your close proximity.

After minutes of sitting there Seokmin shook his head and loudly called out your name, making you squeak and jerk in surprise as you immediately threw the book in surprise, hitting him in the face. The next five minutes of chaos were full of you apologizing to your red faced best friend as he laughed on the floor with tears escaping his eyes because although he loved scaring you, that thick book still almost broke his nose.

As you both calmed down, Seokmin grinned at you from the floor, that same sunshine smile that brightened your most dampest days and took away all your tiredness. But you wouldn't ever tell him your heart fluttered when he smiled.

And unknown to you, in that moment seeing you red faced in embarrassment and smiling shyly made Seokmin realize how much he liked, no, loved making you smile, and somehow his smile turned even brighter.
