Finally made it to @high.joint They’ve been open for almost a year now in a nondescript strip mall near Al Manara, churning out burgers that have been all over social media. I’ve heard all the hype and seen all the IG photos and people gushing about how good the burgers are. So glad I finally made it - the burgers are even better than I thought they would be. I had The Smokey - crispy edged smashed premium patty with crispy tempura onions, gooey Pepper Jack cheese, bacon bits and homemade ranch. My friend had the King ‘Shroom - the same premium smashed patty, tempura mushrooms, Provolone and homemade aioli. We also shared their Fly High Loaded Fries - the sinful version of a baked potato topping on hot, crunchy fries. We also shared a sampler of their chicken wings: buffalo, barbecue and spicy Asian. We were quite full at this point but JJ let us try the Spicy Mango Slaw Chicken which we took a. It’s ok but just couldn’t finish.
