Haute Couture is a legal term, referring to hand-made, high quality fashion.

In France, any item given the title “haute couture” it has to pass a series of criteria, which was created in 1945 and later updated in 1992.

 Designer

By definition, designer clothing is fashionable and luxurious clothing made by, or carrying the label of, a well-known fashion designer.

 Bridge brands

Bridge brands are known as the category between high-end fashion and high-street fashion. Often bridge brands have characteristics of higher end brands but at lowers prices at they don’t have the status that designer labels have.

 High street

High street fashion is the fashion you can find on the main street of a town. This is the lowest and cheapest category of fashion. It is known for being low quality and mass produced.
