Harrison had to hand it to his sister, when she put her mind to something she could really pull it off. He could only guess his face was the perfect combination of shocked and surprised as he pulled up to the family home, dressed in the suit Heather had instructed him to wear, promptly greeted by the faces of Hidehill. All there to celebrate his birthday. Harrison had never been the type of guy to make a big deal about himself let alone throw a party, but Heather never did anything by half measures, and he was grateful that she was thoughtful enough to put the effort in for him. Grabbing a champagne from the makeshift lobby bar, he started to make his way around to the people who had been kind enough to give up their time to celebrate him. "How's all this then hey? Maybe turning 35 isn't that bleak after all. Thanks for coming, I really appreciate it."

"oh--oh no--" paisley giggles, alcohol evidently has taken over her system as she didn't immediately notice who she bumped into. after that little fun she's had with the other girls, she decides to have a few girls, and now here she is, tripping on her heels. her hands have landed flatly on jace's chest and she finally looks up. "oh no..." she repeats, cheeks now flushed, realizing now who it was. "it's you..." she grins, once more, a giggle leaves her lips. "you found me."

after reading through that banter on the groupchat that just goes on forever, elena laughs to herself stands up from the sunlounger, slipping her phone in her pocket as she decides to make her way back inside, now that she's out of smokes for tonight, and as she does, she doesn't expect the woman she was about to meet, someone who was in those years of her life that she'd rather forgot, but it was that one person she still thinks about here and there, the woman--scarlett, who actually designed the suit that she was wearing right now. the former singer doesn't stop herself from walking up to her though. "you look like you're cold." were the first words she says, instead of the common hello, how have you been? or we haven't talked in forever.

"insan! long time no see!" he greets odette with a hug, squeezing the woman a little bit before pulling away. "i'm sorry for not coming to see you immediately, i had things to take care of--you know, he won't stop until he gets what he wants." his father have been calling him nonstop for days, it only recently stopped when he made a promise that he will be still working from where he is right now. "how are you, how are things going?"
