Anon, I’m still on the fence about this one, but I think I’ve found the perfect moment to fit it in. The masquerade ball will have a drugged wine scene. An MC who already has this ability won’t be able to enjoy the effects of the drug they accidentally drank, while an MC who hasn’t unlocked this ability will feel the full effects of the drug so intensely that they’ll probably end up stabbing their own leg with a knife.
So, the masquerade ball will be the moment it happens. After the MC gets rid of the effects—whether it’s by sex or by stabbing their leg and staggering to the lake to jump in while Nothingness removes the toxins—they better be careful.
They almost climbed T like a jungle gym. 😂
