Ahhhhhh ok. Honestly I’m with you there, if you’d asked me which characters I thought people would generally all remeber it would be Nikki, Bobo, Momo, Lunar, and Kimi. I checked again today, Nikki and Bobo are still equally the most remembered, Bai Jinjin and Yvette are now both slightly lower, but are still higher than Momo, Lunar, Nidhogg, Ace, and Kimi.

Of course it may be from people accidentally quitting the quiz early, which has happened to me before with Sporcle quizes lol.

🌻 BASIC INFO

One of the characters at the summer camp. He is infected and has a centipede inside his brain since he was little. His bug, like many other centipedes inside brains (although this has some exceptions that I will write about in future entries), prevents him from being able to talk. During hiber, experiences strong headaches for a couple of days.

Eth joined the summer camp willingly to feel less lonely. After discovering the strange happenings, he begins to investigate and becomes obsessed with figuring everything out.

🎶 SHORT BACKSTORY

As a young kid, Eth used to have blonde hair. He always dreamed of singing and making music for the world. After a centipede infected his brain at a young age, he became mute, and his hair color changed to black (a centipede brain symptom). It really devastated him. From a lively, energetic kid, Eth became somewhat reserved, although still kind at heart. To this day, he still dreams at night about being able to talk or even sing. Sometimes has nightmares of being in terrible danger, not being able to scream for help. His love for music didn't die out and actually even heightened as comfort, which resulted in him learning how to play multiple instruments. Especially the electric guitar.

🎸 INTERESTS

Eth loves listening to music. He likes various popular genres like shoegaze and punkrock, but also adores obscure bands he only shares with people he trusts.

In his free time, he reads superhero comics and makes his own music, recording it on tapes. Eth dreams of releasing his creations, but can't find "the right time."

Other obscure interests include bears, sunflowers, the color yellow, and sweet dairy products, especially ice cream. Also loves honey.

🐻 PERSONALITY

As a person, Eth is a genuinely kind guy who just wants everyone to be happy. He can be a little shy at times, especially with his interests, but he's trying. Eth gets attached to people easily and loves being around them, even if no one's doing anything. If he sees someone being mean, Eth can't stop himself from showing that he does not approve. Even if he can't talk.

He's extremely indecisive, too.

His kindness is constantly being tested by the other camp members.

🍦 MISC

Sharing food with others is his love language.

Had an orange cat named Melon (he named it himself!) Currently has a grumpy calico cat named Jam. It, too, has a centipede inside its brain, which prevents it from meowing. Eth's parents got him this cat after he became mute himself.

Eth considers himself a cis man who's pansexual and asexual.

Eth's happiest memory is some sort of memory from the past when he was still a kid, listening to pop song performances on TV and singing along with family.

Has a soft spot for romance stories

🍓 BASIC INFO

Another quiet camper. A brain centipede infected her while she was still in the womb, because of that, she's not able to talk since birth. During hiber, experiences strong headaches and strange hallucinations too, as of recently.

Stephanie joined the camp willingly to run away from everything and "start something new." She does help Eth and the others to uncover the parasite mystery, but she doesn't really care and wants to finish the indie movie all of them had decided to work on, slowly becoming more obsessed with it.

📸 SHORT BACKSTORY

Stephanie is very embarrassed by her past. Especially because she used to be in a "no one understands me" phase and constantly acted up to get attention. She picked up photography and would trespass just to get a specific shot or angles she had in mind. Like a quick photo inside a neighbor's house foundation. Stephanie used to be extremely naive though, which resulted in heartbreak after she met a girl and got hurt by her. The other girl was not infected and used Stephanie's bug against her. After that, Stephanie became calmer and very cautious. She still has that edge to her and will make sure to give you a loud stank eye, but she looks at the world in a more dismissive or even cynical way.

She still remembers certain sneaky tricks she uses from time to time.

📹 INTERESTS

Stephanie jumped from photography to filmmaking. This hobby consumes most of her time. She loves filming all the time, but she doesn't film just anything. She has a very specific idea in her mind and she will do anything to get that shot. Stephanie adores telling her stories in an obscure way and has always dreamed of directing a short indie film, which she finally starts making with the other campers.

Stephanie likes watching movies as well, but rather than enjoying them, she observes each scene and frame, trying to nitpick what she could use in her own work.

Other things Stephanie likes include all sorts of berries, tropical fruit, especially the juicy ones, yogurt, catching birds, and taking care of her hair.

🐦 PERSONALITY

Stephanie is very blunt and might even come off as rude or apathetic sometimes. She is not afraid to show when she doesn't like something. Though she does fear showing her deeper feelings towards things and people she likes. This might tie in with her past.

She can be very stubborn and a perfectionist too.

Eth, Laurie and other campers start to soften her heart bit by bit.

🍊 MISC

Stephanie is an extremely messy eater. She also likes eating with her hands, which does not help.

Used to own a sphynx cat named Pinto, which Stephanie loved dressing up in sweaters. Currently doesn't have a pet, but loves catching birds, giving them names, taking care of them for a couple of days, and then letting them go.

Stephanie considers herself a cis lesbian woman

She likes to sit silently or walk around in pitch black darkness alone.

✒️ BASIC INFO

A silly character who just wants to have fun! He has loooong worms under his skin that feed off his blood a bit. Because of this, Wes is the weakest camp member physically. He has severe anemia as well, which makes him very tired, often short of breath, his limbs are gray and cold, and his skin is quite pale. You can see the worms in thin, long, blue/purple veins all over his limbs. Another weird effect these worms do is that they make Wes extremely tall. During hiber, he feels dizzy, too weak to even walk, and often just sleeps and naps all day.

Wes joined the camp to bring more chaos into a place he already knew would have heaps of it. He loves writing nonsensicle scrips for the indie film (and annoying Stephanie with them) and finds the parasite mystery intriguing, liking the vibes more than the research though.

🎹 SHORT BACKSTORY

He could never participate in sports or very active playground games with other kids when he was small, but he often disobeyed, hurting himself in the process.

Still, he had to stay inside most of the time. His parents sent him to piano classes, which he didn’t love but tolerated enough to fully learn. What he loved though was writing. When everyone else swam in lakes and ran around playing ball on warm summer evenings, Wes wrote eleborate, insane stories, where nothing normal ever happened. He was always proud of his stories, even when no one else really understood them.

He used to be very close with his grandfather, who had a bug inside his stomach, making him always hungry, but also giving him the ability to eat literally anything (gramps often joked that he was about to eat one of the family hamsters.)

Wes’ grandpa taught him all the traditional masculine things that didn’t need a lot of physical activity, like fishing or tinckering with objects. He was more like a father than his actual father.

The grandfather sadly passed away suddenly one night after a severe hiber episode and starved (hiber is not usually deadly, but can be, especailly in older, weaker bodies.)

After that, Wes fully transcended into the chaotic nihilistic/absurdist view of life and embraced the dream of "becoming a legacy."

⚙️ INTERESTS

Wes still loves creating extravagant stories and writes them on an old purple typewriter to be extra. Tells everyone that he’ll be famous once he’s dead, because "great artists don’t get recognised while they’re alive." This is his goal. For people to argue about the meaning of his stories while he giggles in his grave.

Wes particularly loves the 30s-40s era and strictly has its style and things. Adapted a lot of mannerisms from this era as well, probably from his grandfather.

This guy is a natural at pranking and annoying others to get a reaction or attention. People are always a bit cautious of him. Wes is also an unapologetic cheater, especially in card games.

Other things he loves are the color purple, winter, giving and receiving presents (receiving more tho lol,) typical masculine things like cars, constructing models, tech, etc., peaches, and soda.

☃️ PERSONALITY

He doesn’t take anything seriously and just tries to have fun, because, according to him, life would be too depressing otherwise.

Despite his worms, Wes is still lively, extroverted, confident, not humble what’s so ever, a show-off, and can be charismatic when he needs to be.

He rarely says anything he really means, often talking in jokes, quotes or old style phrases.

🥤 MISC

All his life Wes owned A LOT of hamsters that always died in the most bizarre ways possible. He liked constructing tiny vehicles for them. Still owns some.

Wes pretends his stories never have any deeper meaning and are just crazy and quirky for the sake of it, but sometimes they do. But sometimes they really are just him having fun and nothing more.

Considers himself a gay cis man

Wes and Remy found an infected tortoise on the camp ground and are currently both rasing him like he’s their son.

He would rather die than cry in public
