View of other demons.

Growing up in a certain demon realm, and going through all sorts of awful things, has understandably left Raz with a bias against demons and demonic looking beings.

He’s wary around any new ones that he meets, especially if he knows/can tell they’re from the same place he is. He doesn’t trust other demons (well, he doesn’t trust easily in general but demons are a pretty big Nope).

But, he also can’t help but feel a sort of connection to them in some ways. Sometimes, that might make him a little more accepting to them (even if he’s very wary at first), or it might make him want to push them away more.

Demons that are very different to the sorts that he grew up around will probably be more acceptable to him. 

When it comes to male demons, he will feel an instinctive rivalry/aggression towards them in most cases, but its something he would try ignore. The demons of the realm were always fighting and trying to establish dominance over each other, so he always feels like other males are trying that with him and it grates on him a lot. It’s in his blood to wanna fight them.

In regards to female demons, he has some mixed feelings. On one hand, he is protective over females in general due to his mother, but on the other...he was kept captive, and was used, by a few female demons, and so they make him wary and lowkey very uncomfortable (if they get too close or touch him, he is likely to lash out if they are persistent). Succubi in particular are demons he would avoid.

It’s rather complicated. He hates demons really, he hates what they are and that they’re so monstrous in behaviour and that they can’t really even help what they are and what they do most of the time. He hates what he is and he gets torn between rejecting and accepting the demon parts of himself.

He doesn’t want to be like them, but he can’t help what he is and the fact that he is one of them and he likes doing some of the bad things they do. If he’s not one of them, he doesn’t know what he is, and that’s kinda scary to him.

He knows some demons are definitely worse than others, and he thinks those Worse sorts should die. He has no problem killing fellow demons if he has to, he thinks the world, and the demon itself, is better off that way. Maybe the demon will be grateful for death, maybe he’s doing them a favour, that’s what he thinks anyway.
