This isn't a perfect recreation (some shots were different in the original, this is just straight-up the scene from the movie with the narration (and consequently some SFX) muted) but I wanted to point out that this scene was used as the teaser trailer for BlueSky's Horton Hears a Who!, which played in theaters in early 2008 (maybe late 2007? But that feels too early). It sold me on this movie so hard that I still have a clear memory of seeing the teaser in theaters. It gave me Nevermore (old flash game) vibes, and I immediately wanted more of it.
