♡ If Trace kidnapped and drugged up his beloved and kept them safely bound in his home, he'd read them some of his favourite tales every night! He'd have them on his lap totally bound up, forcing them to rest against his chest whilst they're woozy and not quite with it.

♡ He'd read slowly and deliberately to spend as much time with his beloved as possible, as well as making sure that his words are sinking in. He'd definitely quiz his beloved as he's reading to make sure they're paying attention to him. They need to give back the attention he's giving them, after all! And he would get extremely upset if they weren't listening.

♡ He's done so much for them! Keeping them safe, giving them a home and whatever they need, providing food and warmth for them...and they can't even just pay attention to him and his passions in return for all that.

♡ He doesn't want to punish them, but behaviour like that leaves him no choice. If they're not going to pay attention to him, then as much as it hurts him, he shan't pay attention to them. He'd purposely keep them bound, and would just lock them in his spare bedroom. They'll want him in time. He can wait.

♡ When he finally hears them begging and crying for him, he'd rush into the bedroom with a smile on his face and would ever so gently take care of their needs. They were so silly, pushing him away...can't they see how much he loves them? How much they need him to take care of them? They will once he helps freshen them up and makes them feel better.

♡ Trace would absolutely love bomb them after this. He'd make their favourite food because he loves them so, so much. He'd pull out gifts that he knows they'll love- he's had plenty of time to research! He'd utter so many comments of praise and affection to them...and he'll curl up with them and softly read to them, pausing occasionally to look at his beloved listening intently to him as they snuggle against his chest.
