why are people hating on asgore so much? is it because mom toriel is mad at him? lmao she's not perfect in every way either. she's so overprotective that she will hurt you and guilt you if you try to leave the ruins. yes, she lets you go, but it's manipulative. asgore made a mistake, but you know what? he was encouraged to keep doing what he was doing because a lot of other monsters thought it was the right thing to do, too. So are you going to blame all the underground, too? see this is what I don't like about people. don't ask for complicated characters and then stick them in these rigid categories ya hypocritical fucks. the characters in undertale are written to have complex emotions and stories, like, i dunno, real people??
